Why move to Mexico?

Mexico beckons many of us. What is that call to us all about?

Let me share what called to us and what our family found in Mexico ……..

Beautiful weather year round … a more relaxed life style … it gave us an opportunity to create a different life and consciously choose what we wanted in it … we could learn a new language and have fun with hand gestures … we not only learn about, but experience day to day all about another culture … we see palm trees … beautiful beaches and ocean … and then there is the creation of more quality time with family.

Granted some of these things we could have changed or experienced where we used to live, but it was much more fun and adventurous to do it in Mexico!

If any of these appeal to you - when are you coming to visit and check it out?

Enjoy the Adventure! Suzanne

International Living Conference held in Cancun, Mexico

Sorry about the short notice on this - I sent info about it in my eZine but forgot you here. Well just slug my arm when you get to Cancun.

International Living is holding a conference right in my own backyard - Cancun, Mexico.

I got the schedule for the event and I have to say I am very impressed! It is jam packed with all the speakers and information you would need to make an educated decision of where you might choose to move and how to do it!

Speakers are coming in from around the world to tell you how they did it and how you can do it too. They will be covering opportunities in Mexico and around the world.

You will learn about good deals on properites, how to buy them, and what to do once you have them. They will even be discussing business opportunities you can pursue to earn more money before and after your move.

It is short notice so you will have to register and book your flight now. However, this could be a great opportunity to get in on short notice discount airfare (always an upside)! Let me know if you want discount travel sites.

It will be at the Fiesta Americana Resort in Cancun, Mexico,
May 28 through 31, 2008.

Plus, I have been asked to be a guest speaker on the Saturday, so we can meet!

Actually I plan to hang around more than that. Every day is packed with speakers.
I want to learn all about these deals too!

Click here to see all the details of the conference.
Let me know you are coming so I can say hello.

Enjoy the Adventure! Suzanne

Leave Mexico for a holiday?

Take a holiday from holiday land? Sounds weird doesn’t it? It is weird; except when you live in holiday land year round.

When you take a holiday from wherever you live and visit somewhere else, you come back with a new appreciation of where you live. Suddenly things that were starting to annoy you, no longer annoy you. Your focus changes …. You realize you prefer the heat …. That you like the slower pace …. That your home really is your home.

When we take holidays from Mexico, we come back and appreciate Mexico even more! I have a big piece of my heart in Mexico. There are still times when I do look forward to a holiday even from Playa del Carmen, Mexico though. Oh now we are back to just sounding weird.

Enjoy the Adventure! Suzanne

A holiday in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico?

Morelia, Michoacan has much to offer a visitor. Morelia offers history, culture, nearby lakes and farm fields, Monarch butterfly tours, mountains, and very nice people. However, my highest recommendation is the candy museum called in Spanish Museo del Dulce.

The following is not a paid endorsement – it is only a fun endorsement.

You will be able to take a historic tour of the making of candy in Morelia, see it being made, sample numerous concoctions and then purchase whatever you wish. There are several large rooms full of candy and chocolates for sale! The options and tastes are endless. You could live there your whole visit and certainly eat there all day! Just remember to walk around town a lot so you get sufficiently hungry!

My recommendation for sweet treats when you visit Morelia is to head to El Museo del Dulce in the historic district. Did I mention they do ice cream too? I am planning a trip back soon as I think I have candy withdrawal!
