More beach time please

I have been refining my dreams and goals for this year all month. I have come to a realization – more beach time is needed.

Living in Mexico, specifically Playa del Carmen, where the beach is gorgeous I realized that I do not spend enough time enjoying the very thing I moved down here for.

I got caught up in a day to day routine. This is the very thing I warn people moving to Mexico of. I tell them to choose carefully what they want or they will just end up with more of what they left behind.

I am not retired. I am a life coach and a writer. I have four web sites and two blogs. All of these are reasons to spend a lot of time at home on my computer instead of being at the beach or lounging by my pool. I also still have a son at home to chauffer to and from school and American football practice. My husband runs our real estate office so he is busy too. But you know what? If you become aware of something that you want to change – you can change it.

I love life coaching, writing, my kids, my husband and the beach. Now that I have realized the beach belongs in my list of priorities I am going to be sure to fit it into my life much more.

So if you call and I’m not home – I may just be off enjoying the beach. I’ll come back and catch up on emails and clients with sand between my toes. Ah, this is sounding like a very good year indeed.

May your year be exactly as you choose.
PS. Our sun is back!

Enjoy the Adventure! Suzanne

Looking for the day when I can get away (from the U.S.) to Mexico.

I enjoy reading your blog and posts about life in Mexicoe.
I plan to relocate the Guadalajara area in the next couple of years and beginning my planning now.
Do you know of websites where other expats plan to relocate and would like to form friendships?
I especially would like to find those contemplating the same goals as myself.

Well hello Mary Ellen! It is a great idea to find like minded individuals to help you live your dream.

I would suggest you look up Mexico forums. You can meet on the forum and then exchange emails to talk more. I have several websites that have forums listed in the links section of my site

Let me know if that helps.

Hi Suzanne- I've just stumbled on your blog from "An Adventure of Epic Proportions" and am happy to find you. I'm a fellow Canadian living in Cancun for the last five years. And I am ADDICTED to the beach and am suffering badly with all these nortes, lol! I've added you to my blog roll and look forward to reading more.

Thanks CancunCanuck! I checked out your blog and I really love the advice you give and the stuff you write about so I am adding you to my blog roll too. Many people will be better informed because of you. Thanks. Your fellow Cancuck in Playa del Carmen.
