To me, a Bird of paradise flower says “the tropics”. Ever since I saw them in Hawaii, I always thought it would be very cool to have a bird of paradise flower in my yard.Two years ago we purchased a bird of paradise plant for our yard here in Mexico. I have faithfully watered it and nurtured it with love. In two years it had not produced even one flower.
Today I am happy to tell you that my bird of paradise plant has its first bloom! I share my happiness with you! I guess some things are just worth waiting for.
